I clocked in today. Took my 10 minute break. In Lesson 12, I flowed text around objects.
Started with this image…
I click on the globe and went to Object>Text Wrap>Make. Adjusted the font size to 13. And change the Offset to 4.
I settled type onto a path. Started with the image…
I made a curving path for the white text.
I learned essential type shortcuts. They were Shift>Command> less than or greater than for making the text smaller or bigger. Shift>Option>Command> less than or greater than for making the text bigger or smaller by 10. Option and up and down arrow keys for leading. And Option and right and left arrow keys for tracking.
I learned how to add Typeset desktop fonts to Illustrator. I converted text into paths. I did that by selecting the type and going to Type>Create Outline. Finished my blog post today.
